Reporting Safeguarding Concerns

Any safeguarding concern, however minor it may appear, should be reported promptly.
Concerns may include:
• Inappropriate behaviour or communication
• Breaches of professional conduct
• Anything that causes discomfort, distress, or concern for a student’s wellbeing
Reports can be made confidentially through the academy’s official contact channels.

Safeguarding Measures

1. Staff Conduct & Professional Boundaries
  • All teachers and staff are expected to maintain clear professional boundaries
  • One-to-one interactions are conducted appropriately and transparently
  • Respectful language and behaviour are required at all times

Any behaviour that compromises student welfare is not tolerated

2. Gender-Appropriate Arrangements

To maintain comfort, dignity, and appropriateness:

    • Gender-specific arrangements are implemented where required
    • Teaching and class structures reflect Islamic principles of modesty and respect
    • Online and in-person sessions are organised with sensitivity to gender considerations
3. Online Learning Safeguards

For online classes:

  • Lessons are delivered through approved platforms
  • Group settings are prioritised where possible
  • Teaching is structured and supervised
  • Clear expectations for student conduct are set and maintained
4. Parental Involvement (Children’s Programmes)
  • Parents or guardians are kept informed of programme structures
